Three St Mark's students ordained deacon

3 St Mark's Deacons ordained in Goulburn L->R: The Rev'd Caroline Campbell (examining chaplain), The Rev'd Christopher Golding, the Rev'd Ken Rampling, the Rev'd Stephen Conway at the steps to the nave of St Saviour's Cathedral Goulburn.

Made deacons on Saturday 26 February by Bishop Stuart Robinson, Christopher, Ken and Stephen are the latest batch of St Mark's students to take the first step along the path of ordained ministry. Chris identifies himself as 'a passionate young man with a deep love for God's mission in Christ'. Ken holds a 'strong conviction in the centrality of family life in maintaining healthy communities'. Initially trained as a primary school teacher, Stephen (along with his wife Rebekah and family) are in the process of becoming full members of the Celebration Community in Queanbeyan.

I know it's 12 months since the conference and no resources are published yet.

A book is being produced of the papers from the conference. This should be finalised by June 2011. Copies will be for sale at a reasonable price. More details next month.
